An experienced education professional with experience in school operations, instructional support, and diversity-related initiatives, Dr. Jerry Jellig has held various roles in instructional and administrative capacities, including principal, superintendent, and DEIA administrator. Dr. Jerry Jellig served as a DEIA administrator at LCPS, focusing on curriculum guidance, staff training, and equity-related programming. At KIPP DC and DCPS, Dr. Jellig participated in school restructuring, leadership coaching, and district-level planning.

Dr. Jellig earned a PhD in organizational and public leadership from the University of Pennsylvania, an MS in educational administration from Johns Hopkins University, and a BS in history from Providence College. He also completed training in leadership for DEI at Cornell University.
